Dixie's Southern Grub is proudly owned by Kyle and Jess Miller.
Kyle was raised in St. Louis, Missouri where he began his cooking career. He left St. Louis and cooked on a private island in Alaska and a not so private island in Hawaii before settling in Oregon. He was Head Chef at the Grant House in Vancouver and then Sous Chef at Tucci in Lake Oswego where he met Jess.
They fell madly in love, got married and started dreaming.
Jess and her entire family are from Hood River and she was thrilled when her and Kyle were able to return to the valley and open their own business.
Between the two of them they do everything in the restaurant themselves and love to see happy, full customers.
